Kim Victoria Cattrall (born August 21st, 1956) is an actress from Canada and the United Kingdom. popular for her part as Samantha Jones in the HBO show Sex and the City for which she was awarded five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations winning the 2002 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. Between 2008 and 2010, she reprised the character for the two films Sex and the City and Sex and the City 2. In the 1980s she was a leading character as a Police Academy Big Trouble Little China Mannequin as well as Porky's. Kim Cattrall is most often linked to her cult HBO sitcom Sex & the City, in which she portrayed Samantha Jones. Cattrall, a noted actor, has acknowledged her performance as Samantha Jones as a career-defining role. The show made her an international star, not only among the local audience and internationally. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. Her most famous role is in the comedy-drama film La Dolce Vita. It was a critical and commercial success, and it won the Golden Palm and Oscar at Cannes Film Festival 1960. Born in Skane, Sweden, she was a model before beginning her acting career. Then she won the Miss Sweden contest. In the US the actress began to appear in movies with minor roles. In the movie Abbott and Costello Go to Mars she was credited as an Venusian. After appearing in Blood Alley, she won the Golden Globe Award in the category of Youngcomer with the Best.
