DMX, an American artist and rapper, who was also a performer and actor, started rapping during the early 90s. He released his first album It's dark and hell is hot on May 19, 1998. The album was released several times over the years, among them... Then There Was X and then There Was X... yet again Redemption of the Beast grand champ... The Great Depression Year of the Dog... The album, titled ... And then There was X was also nominated a Grammy for the Best Rap Album category in 2001. Alongside his music activities, he has also been featured in films such as Lords of the Street Belly Top Five Exit Wounds Never Die Alone The Bleeding Romeo Must Die Backstage Beyond the Law Lockjaw Rise of the Kulev Serpent and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
